What are the steps in obtaining an agreement with us?
1) Contact LPC Personnel, Inc. by phone or fill out the job order form offered on our website. 2) We then go through the preliminary interview process for you. Including conducting background and reference checks, and drug screenings upon request. 3) When our company has gathered several candidates that meet your criteria, we then present resumes for you to pick and choose whom you would like to meet with. Interviews may be held at our location close to downtown or at your office. 4) Once you have interviewed the potential employee, or found a good match by reviewing the resumes presented we will have them available to start at a mutally agreed upon time. There is a fee involved, which can be discussed upon interest of using our services.
What is the difference between temporary, temporary-to-hire, and direct hire?
Temporary positions can last anywhere from a few days to a few months. Companies who simply need some extra help during a season or holiday; this solution could work for you. Temporary employees are on our payroll therefore there is no paperwork for you to handle. Rates for temp help can be discussed directly with LPC Personnel, Inc.
Temporary-to-hire positions can actually be considered as "show and tell". Your company is no the employer of record during the trial period. The employee is on our payroll, which means you have time to observe your possible new employee and see how they work in your company’s environment. Upon completion of 480 hours or an estimated 3 months of full time work, the temporary employee will be added to your payroll at no further cost.
Direct hire offers you a qualified candidate to become your employee immediately with a guarantee for 60 days. If the employee does not work out within this time frame LPC Personnel, Inc. will replace them or refund your fee.
